Nectar honey of Babtai – Varluva forest biosphere landfill plants –
Honey is one of the oldest foods beneficial to health. Can prolong human life, provides vitality and health.
In our Sweet Drop apiary, bees live only in wooden hives. Sweet Drop honey is collected from the flowers of various plants, light yellowish, yellowish golden or yellowish brown in color, aromatic, light or intense in taste. The taste and smell of honey depends on the smell of the flowers of the plants from which the nectar is taken. The nectar poured into the honeycomb is not yet honey, it must mature when standing dry. The bees cover the hole with a wax lid and the honey matures in about 10-14 days. We take honey from them only when it is fully ripe, ready to spin – its moisture content does not exceed 19%. All the honey is bottled in different jars by hand, no machines work here. Every year, our honey is evaluated with a certificate from EKOagra.
The consumption of honey is very beneficial because it contains minerals necessary for the human body. It is a product of plant origin, saturated with vitamins (A, B1, B2, B6, C, PP, K, E, pantothenic acid, folic acid) and contains more than 300 trace elements (manganese, silicon, aluminum, boron, chromium, copper, lithium , nickel, lead, tin, zinc, osmium, etc.), which significantly accelerate metabolic reactions in the body. The combination of trace elements is very close to the content of trace elements in human blood.
To preserve honey, bees add glycogen acid to the nectar, which is very good for human health: it is a food for the liver, helps to break down carbohydrates, and helps the pancreas to produce glucose.
Honey is absorbed by the human body 100%, which is not the case with other foods. Honey is a healing and preventive tool that strengthens and rejuvenates the body.
If you want to make any medicine with honey – aloe, ginger with lemon – use last year’s honey, if it was kept in a hermetically sealed container, it has already undergone all the reactions, revealed all the best properties of honey.
Spring forest and field flowers honey
This honey bees collected in April – May. Bright, almost white, pleasant aroma, mild taste. Bees prepare this honey from the earliest flowering plants and flowering gardens in forests and meadows: hazelnuts, alders, willows, maples, dandelions, fruit trees and fruit bushes, rape. Spring honey is one of the most valuable types of honey. It has excellent taste and healing properties. Recommended for various diseases. It is also considered to be one of the least allergenic, so it is recommended to give it to children who have not yet tasted honey. It hardens quickly, but has a very pleasant creamy consistency and has almost no aftertaste. This honey can be a great choice for those who like to cook, especially if you don’t want to give the product a specific honey flavor. Honey was spun in 2021. June 6
STORAGE
Sunlight harms honey, it breaks down some enzymes. Bought honey should be stored in a cool and dark place. Remember that honey absorbs ambient moisture and odors. Stored in leaking containers can start to acidify – foam appears on the surface, the volume increases and the taste changes. Sometimes honey bought in the summer does not crystallize for a long time, it is liquid. Buyers suspect that this is poor quality honey. In this case, it should be borne in mind that honeydew honey or honey collected from sea buckthorn, barberry, and phacelia and poured into light hairs may not crystallize for a long time.
Honey is one of the most valued natural substances used by man since ancient times.
